Carl Hasch, also Karl Hauschwick, was an Austrian painter.
Hasch was the son of the bead blower Anton Hasch from Vienna- Fünfhaus . There is no evidence of having studied at the Vienna Academy. He toured the Austrian Alpine countries, Italy, Switzerland and Belgium. He was a member of the Künstlerhaus from 1872.
Hasch was primarily a landscape painter who succeeded Franz Steinfeld and is attributed to Biedermeier painting. His favorite motifs were forest and rock scenes in the evening.
