Bernard Reinhold was born in 1824. Reinhold was initially trained as a sculptor with Bertel Thorvaldsen in Copenhagen.
Bernhard Reinhold went to Rome in 1847 for further studies in painting. Since then, the Italian motifs, particularly from the area around Rome, can be found in his work.
Bernhard Reinhold passed away in 1892 in Dresden.
