Antoine-Émile Plassan

Antoine Emile Plassan was a French painter of genre, portraits, landscapes and still lifes. He was born in Bordeaux on 29 September 1817.

Plassan won medals for his work in 1852, 1857 and 1859 as well as the Legion of Honour in 1859. He exhibited at the Paris Salon in 1846.

Paintings by Plassan can be found in the museums of Bordeaux, Montreal and Reims.
