Albert Wenk was a German painter and marine painter of the 19th and 20th centuries.

Wenk studied with the landscape painter Josef Adrian van Luppen (1834-1891) at the Artesis Hogeschool Antwerp and then at the Art Academy in Düsseldorf and with Gustav Schönleber at the State Academy of Fine Arts in Karlsruhe. From 1890 to 1892 he traveled through France, Great Britain and Italy. He settled in Munich and from 1893 regularly sent his paintings to the Munich Glass Palace exhibitions.

Wenk's oeuvre mainly includes motifs from the Mediterranean; especially from the islands of Capri and Sicily. He also painted marine motifs from Lake Constance , the Rhine and the island of Jersey. Wenk was one of the most important German marine painters of his time. He was a member of the Munich Artists' Cooperative and from 1899 to 1910 managing director of the art exhibitions in the Glaspalast.
